Thandeka Certification Curriculum
This is an online certification that will be delivered through a series of online video tutorials, lectures, and seminars, along with exclusive access to group coaching sessions with Dr. Deborah Tillman. This certification covers a wide range of subjects and issues in order to prepare YOU to become the very best coach you can be!
This is broken down into four core modules, specifically designed to place you on the right track towards becoming a top rated family and parenting coach. We dive head first into 7 subjects, focused around creating and developing the family as a unit, and how through spiritual leadership we can begin to help struggling families, ensuring that we keep the vision and values at the heart our work before learning & developing the techniques necessary for your future career.
Equip Me Part 2: Preparing the Soil
In this module we discover how to attain a better relationship between children and family members. We focus on how we can rebuild, restore and respond to the needs of parents and families across the globe. This module aids you in mastering the tools and techniques you need to build a better future for all families.
The foundation of your leadership in the home begins with 10 primary principles that will prepare you with master tools to push forward to a better future, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Empower Me: Planting Seeds of Greatness
This module prepares parents with master tools and techniques to build better communication and a strong foundation that will create calm in their home and in their lives. As well as a solid foundation on how to become the best and highest version of themselves as they learn the foundational principles of the Thandeka Institute Parenting and Family Coach Certification Program.
This module will walk coaches through the Thandeka Institute
S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G Methodology in detail which will create an atmosphere of faith, guidance, and patience:

Expand Me: Producing Life-Changing Results
This module prepares parents to go out and transform the world by providing them with the knowledge of ten family systems with practices on how to produce the best results.
This level provides Parent and Family Coaches with a system of strategies that will impact families

Thandeka Certification Format
This is an online certification that will be delivered through a series of online video tutorials, lectures, and seminars along with exclusive access to group coaching sessions with Dr. Deborah Tillman.
As part of the Thandeka Institute Certification Program, you will have access to all of this as part of your core lessons designed to support you in completing each lesson plan and to give you the foundations you need in becoming a Thandeka parenting coach inside and outside of your home.
All lessons in the Thandeka Institute Certification Program are supported by a wide range of additional training tools, to help you complete your certification. Including additional workshops discussing current topics such as:

Throughout the certification there are different assessments for you to complete to ensure you are meeting the standards set by the Thandeka Institute Certification.
PREREQUISITES for the Thandeka Institute
To be considered for the certification, you must meet the following:
1. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. This ensures a level of maturity and life experience necessary for the certification.
2. Applicants must be actively serving families in their community or communities, churches and organizations.
3. Applicants must have regular contact with, or be in a very close relationship with, either their own children or other children.
4. Applicants must possess excellent communication and writing skills.
5. Applicants must demonstrate willingness to grow and serve the community.
